Routes to Qualification

Below you will find a diagrammatic overview of your available routes to qualify as a fully registered Foot Health Practitioner.

 

Section A (Compulsory)

Section A is the 12 lesson distance learning theory element of the programme which is completed entirely from the comfort of your own home without the need for you to attend the College. On successful completion of this you progress to Section B.

On completion of Section A, you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1: Foot Health Practitioner Diploma (Theory)

Qualification 2: Level 4 Foot Health Practitioner Award

Section B (Compulsory)

Section B is the practical element of the programme. When you enrol, you will decide whether you choose to follow the 5 clinic days practical training () or the 11 clinic days practical training ().

5 Clinic Days Practical Training

One week's (5 clinic days) full practical training at our dedicated Foot Health Centre on the .

(Section A + Option 1 in section B) = £1,350

On completion of in Section B, you will receive:

Qualification 3:
Foot Health Practitioner Practical Diploma

With this qualification you will be able to secure professional indemnity insurance to practice competently as a fully registered Foot Health Practitioner.

For those students who have already completed the 5 Clinic Days Practical Training (or the equivalent level of training with another provider) and who wish to attain the level of Advanced Foot Health Practitioner, there is the option to complete the 5 Clinic Days intensive Foot Health Post Graduate Skills Development Certificate course. For more information on the course, please visit the CPD section.

On completion of the Foot Health Post Graduate Skills Development course, you will receive two qualifications:

Qualification 1: Foot Health Post Graduate Skills Development Certificate

Qualification 2: Foot Health Practitioner Advanced Practical Diploma

 

11 Clinic Days Practical Training

Two weeks' (11 clinic days) full practical training at our dedicated Foot Health Centre on the .

Ongoing CPD training element of the programme:
Our CPD courses are entirely optional, and are for those students who wish to continue their foot care related studies, and to offer a wider range of services to their clients. For more information on the CPD courses, please visit the CPD section.
